UCR Requirement
Effective March 2022 - The UCR registration will be verified for all new TxIRP apportioned accounts, TxIRP apportioned renewals and TxIRP apportioned supplements adding a vehicle for each USDOT number associated with the TxIRP apportioned account. The amendment to 217.56 requires the IRP applicant to have current registration under UCR.
Expired UCR registration will result in the denial of the IRP application.

Title Document
Please ensure all title document numbers have been updated in the TxIRP system two business days following any change to your title record. This will allow all systems to sync all updates and or changes made to the title record.
Examples of possible title changes that will affect the document numbers are
adding or removing a lien holder, changing the address, and changing the ownership. To avoid renewal processing delays, please do not wait until your registration expiration to update the document numbers in TxIRP. Each document number requires a manual update by TxDMV staff.
